Asymmetric keys and Siths

Some (not so serious) cryptographic wisdom from a long time ago…

The Rule of Two

Asymmetric keys are like Siths. Always two, there are. No more. No less. A master (the private key) and an apprentice (the public key).

The public key wanders around while the private key stays hidden.

After that point, the analogy kinda falls flat, though. For example, the public key never gets to take the place of the private key.
